Adele has proven to be just as normal as anyone else.

The British singer sat down with Time Magazine for an in-depth conversation where she gushed over motherhood, success, and much more.

The “Rolling In Deep” singer spoke upon staying grounded to fame as she mentioned, “I think people would be pretty surprised when I’m not doing a photoshoot, it’s just me, my boyfriend and the baby. I think it’s really important so that you don’t get f**ked up by everything.”

Adele later continued to explain how motherhood and her 3-year-old son Angelo have made her feel more purposeful than ever before. She explains that being a mom is a blessing. She continues by saying that it may be stressful to constantly attend to infants in the early stages of motherhood because one has to take care of the baby food, medical necessities (like purchasing saline nasal spray for kids for their sinus problems), and other responsibilities but eventually the happiness of being a mom outweighs all the worries. She says, “He (her 3-year old son) makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much. And I’ve always liked myself. I’ve never not liked myself. I don’t have hangups like that. But I’m so proud of myself that I made him in my belly. Cooked him in my belly and then he came out of me! This human who’s suddenly walking around and doing his own thing. I can’t wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes… Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what.”

To check out the rest of the interview, make sure to grab the new issue of Time Magazine when it hits shelves tomorrow Tuesday, December 21.
