Mendeecees Harris has been awaiting his sentencing for over a year, and he finally has an answer.

The Love & Hip Hop star has been officially sentenced to 97 months in prison, which totals up to 8 years, after facing drug trafficking charges last year.

The husband of Yandy Smith took a plea deal back in April, after pleading guilty to the charges, which called for a sentence of eight to ten years, as well as a $15,000 to $5 million fine.

Mendeecees already served time last year when he turned himself in to authorities, but was released on $600,000 bond with the help of his wife.

The father of three was charged after allegedly being involved in a multimillion cocaine and heroin ring.
