Erykah Badu got into an in depth conversation about her relationship with Drake, her new mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone, and the list goes on in a recent interview with Complex.

The longtime soulful singer opens up about covering Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” by saying it was all fun in games as she recorded the track for a friend’s birthday. Until, her producer told her to bring the remix out to light.

Throughout the 10-minute interview, Badu also touches on her new mixtape out this Black Friday. The “Phone Down” vocalist says her project is produced by Zach Witness and features 11 amazing tracks. Erykah also mentions on how each track took about a day to finish.
