The FADER has officially announced that Drake will grace the front cover of their 100th issue. The rapper is just one of two artist that will grace the cover and was fittingly chosen as an era-defining artist.

This announcement comes days after he dropped his surprise project with Future “What a Time to Be Alive” which sold half-million copies in less than a week.

For the cover story Drake talks about his widely popular album, ghostwriting allegations, his work ethic and more.

“Not being vulnerable is never gonna be my thing. I’m always going to share with you what’s going on in my life…Vulnerability, to me, sometimes comes in the form of being naïve about where I am in the pecking order of all this. So I think I realize where I’m at now. And I think I realize that I’m gonna have to be OK with not having that many friends that are peers.”

This is Drake’s second time gracing The FADER’s cover. The first time was in 2009 for his first magazine cover story ever. What a full circle moment!
