Will Smith starring in "Concussion" out on December 25.

Will Smith is set to put the NFL on the hot seat with the upcoming release of his brand new movie Concussion.

Sony Pictures delivered its first trailer for the much talked about movie dropping on Christmas Day this year.  The film is based on the GQ article “Game Brain,” which follows Dr. Bennet Omalu (Will Smith) and his discovery of the brain disease CTE in two former NFL players.

You would think the NFL isn’t too thrilled about this movie coming out, though that’s pure speculation. More importantly, concussions in the NFL is a serious problem and needs to be addressed in more ways then one. With the legendary Will Smith taking the lead role, we expect the movie to leave a lasting impact on the NFL, its players and the fans.

With that being said, check out the trailer for Concussion above and be sure to catch it in theaters starting on December 25th aka Christmas Day.
