Chris Brown Reps the ‘Gangsta Way’ With French Montana
by Staff Editor
Chris Brown and French is proud to rep their hoods in a new track, “Gangsta Way.”
The only way to live is by staying true to where you come from. That’s why Chris and French is always “putting on for their city.”
The Virginia southern singer sang about living the gangster life. Even though the meaning behind the song would usually call for something with tough beat, Chris owned it down with a low tempo to keep it soft and auto tune, that kept it hip hop.
“Girl you know I’ll never leave
You know my heart is in these streets
And that ghetto love ain’t changing
I’mma put on for my city, that’s that Virginia in me
It’s a big world for a little country boy”
