Congratulations are in order for the beautiful songstress Mariah Carey.

Mariah will be getting inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame with her own star. The singer announced the news via Instagram, writing: “Super excited and feeling so humbled about my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Thank you so much to the fans for making this happen for me.”

Carey is a legend and one of the most successful singers ever, with 14 albums, 18 No. 1 hits, 5 GRAMMYs, and over 200 million records sold. Her career began 25 years ago, after she released her first (and self-titled) album Mariah Carey.

Mariah will be inducted on August 5 and will feature a number of distinguished guest speakers, including L.A. Reid, Brett Ratner, and Lee Daniels.
