A few days ago it was reported that singer Chris Brown was temporarily barred from exiting the Philippines over a row with a powerful religious sect. Today, his two day delay is over when he was officially cleared to leave the country.

Apparently, Breezy owed money to a promoter in the country for a show he failed to attend. As he was preparing to leave the country, an order from the Philippines Department of Justice hindered those plans barring him from leaving the country.

According to a recent statement, “The 26-year-old American — who was stuck in Manila for two days — secured an emigration clearance certificate (ECC) stating he has no legal obligations in the Southeast Asian country and was free to leave, immigration spokeswoman Elaine Tan said.”

Brown shared his excitement in a recent Instagram video stating, “”Manila it was fun, love y’all man. If you’re free to come to Macau — party tonight!”

A tad bit bizarre? We agree. But we’re happy it’s now a thing of the past.
