Singer Taylor Swift apologizes to rapper Nicki Minaj for slamming her via Twitter after misunderstanding Nicki’s tweet regarding the MTV VMA’s snub.

The 25-year-old singer apologized via Twitter:

You remember this all started on Tuesday (July 21) after Nicki tweeted out, “If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well.”

Shortly after Taylor responded assuming the tweet was directly aimed at her with “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot…” which then started a whole Twitter war among the two celebrities.

But this morning, the “Feeling Myself” rapper accepted Taylor Swift’s apology by saying:

That means so much Taylor, thank you. @taylorswift13 ❤️❤️❤️
