50 Cent is a successful rapper and he is becoming just as successful on the small and silver screen. His latest acting effort takes him to film Southpaw alongside of superstar actor Jake Gyllenhaal. To give insight into the film, 50 Cent dropped by Grantland with Jalen Rose and David Jacoby for a in depth conversation.

During his time with to co-hosts, 50 spoke about working with the film’s Director Antoine Fuqua, working with Gyllenhaal and the origins of his interest in boxing, which dates back practicing his skills as a 12 year old, and becoming closely involved with boxers through affiliation with some of today’s greats like Floyd Mayweather.
