Remember when we had complaints about a dry year in hip-hop in 2014? So far, 2015 has been the complete opposite. We have had a surplus of albums that have kept hip-hop heads rocking. In the first six months Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean and Dom Kennedy have given fans albums they have been eagerly awaiting and some surprises from the likes of Donnie Trumpet, Chance the Rapper and the rest of the Social Experiment have pleased ears.

So just as Meek Mill’s album dropped we ran through the first six months with our woes, sorry Drake won’t be included because he technically dropped a mixtape, and found which albums reign supreme so far? Check out our list in the following pages.
