The 2015 BET Awards were filled with tons of memorable moments last night, and host Tracee Ellis Ross certainly was a big part of them.

After giving tons of laughs to the packed, star-studded crowd, the actress, whose rap name is T-Murda, raised some eye brows when she introduced Tyga and Chris Brown’s performance during the show.

During the introduction, she called the guys “talented, sexy, and black” before busting out laughing while reading Tyga’s name in a monotone voice. Quickly after, social media got hold of the moment, and thought that she was throwing shade at the Gold Album rapper.

It turns out that Tracee wasn’t throwing shade at all, but was worried about pronouncing his name correctly. She took to her Twitter to explain what happened.

She wrote in her clarification:
