2015 XXL Freshman Vince Staples is gearing up to release his debut album Summertime 06 on June 30th and today the Long Beach native liberates a new cut to hold us over. Grabbing up Desi Mo, Vince gives us “Get Paid,” which will appear on disc 2 of his double LP dropping in a couple weeks. The new album will include features and production from the likes of No I.D., Future, Jhené Aiko, DJ Dahi and more.

On “Get Paid,” Vince channels his California spirit, grasping our attention right away. Then when you add Desi’s background vocals dubbing over Vince’s, as well as her little bridge at the end, it’s clear why this track made the album.
