The next time you pop open a can of Sprite you may receive a blast from hip-hop past. The soda has launched the “Obey Your Verse” campaign, which will feature lyrics from Drake, Rakim, The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas on the side of their can.

The artists that were picked are being highlighted “based on their reputation for being true to themselves through their music and advancing the culture.”

Speaking on the new campaign Nas refers to his legacy with stating, “When I wrote these lyrics, I never imagined my fans would someday have the opportunity to enjoy can of Sprite and experience my art in a totally original way.”

There will be 16 limited edition cans, bottles and the multipacks will carry iconic lines from the quartet of legendary artists and will be available throughout the summer. The songs that will be featured include “0 to 100” from Drake, “The World Is Yours” from Nas, “Paid in Full” from Rakim and “One More Chance” from The Notorious B.I.G.
