Chris Brown Sentenced to 131 Days in Jail

Chris Brown might be back in trouble with the law once again, as he is being accused of brawling with another man during a basketball game in his Las Vegas hotel suite.

According to TMZ, the R&B singer allegedly got into an argument with one of the guys playing around 3:42 AM, and reportedly punched him, with the police now naming him a suspect of battery.

The site reports, The altercation went down at the Palms Casino Resort — Chris was playing hoops at 3:42 AM and at some point he got into an argument with one of the guys playing — and allegedly punched him. The pickup game was being played in Chris’ suite.”

It continues to state, Police responded to the scene, but didn’t talk to Chris when they got there. Cops say Chris now has 2 options: either sign a citation for misdemeanor battery, and agree to show up in court to face the charge — OR take his chances with the D.A … who would decide whether to press charges.”

Nicole Perna, the publicist of Chris Brown, has released a statement speaking on behalf of of client stating he had no part in any incident. In addition to the statement, TMZ also obtained a video showing the scene of the party. You can read the statement and view the video below.

“Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well,” Perna said in a statement. “He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”
