Dawn Richard went 2.0 digital for her new futuristic video ‘Calypso’. The song is her fifth visual off her highly acclaimed album Blackheart. The 3D visuals were directed by digital GIF artist Kytten Janae.

Dawn best known for being a part of girl-group Danity Kane is reintroducing herself as just DΔWN.

“I’m just letting go of my last name. It’s time,” said Dawn. “Calypso was a nymph in Greek mythology, who lived on the island of Ogygia, where she detained Odysseus for several years. We wanted to capture her essence in the video virtually.”
