Experimental-music producer Flying Lotus liberated an unreleased collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, during his show on BBC 1 Radio. Lotus would tease the unheard track during his live shows, and since he had K. Dot on his show last night (April 9) – for an interview – FlyLo finally decided to play the full version for the world to hear. The two musical geniuses discussed the new album To Pimp A Butterfly, the state of hip hop, and the rewards of creating music. “I encourage you, the listener, to always put your heart over a number or a dollar sign,” Kendrick said. Flying Lotus and K. Dot definitely never fail on making classic sounds together.
