Round 1 is over for our 2nd annual Hip-Hop March Madness tournament here at KarenCivil.com and it couldn’t have been any more exciting. With that being said, it’s time for Round 2!

As expected, all four of the number 1 seeds (Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West & Kendrick Lamar) all advanced to the 2nd round. The same goes for the number 2 seeds, Nicki Minaj, YG and Big Sean, however Young Thug was ousted by veteran Jeezy who beat him by more than 20 votes. Vets > Rookies, so far.

In one of our most exciting match ups, Iggy Azalea (3 seed) vs. Azealia Banks (6 seed) in the West region, we had a nail biter finish — Iggy prevailed and beat Azealia by 1 lonely vote. Good work Azaleans.

The 2nd round of our 2nd annual Hip-Hop March Madness tournament looks to have some really exciting match ups as Drake takes on Chris Brown, Kendrick takes on his right hand man ScHoolboy Q, Jeezy faces off against the Migos and plenty others.

Review the contest rules below and proceed to the following pages to begin voting for Round 2! We will announce the winners of Round 2 and the match ups for Round 3 on March 23rd.
