What would you say are the best three songs that a person can choose for their Valentine’s Day soundtrack, maybe including your own?

Sevyn Streeter: My favorite song of all time is “By Your Side” by Sade, and I think that’s a good one. I think “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” by D’Angelo has a great sexy feel to it. I’d have to say my song “It Won’t Stop” as well! Those three records are like a perfect Valentine’s Day soundtrack. Put those on rotation, and you are good to go.

What would you recommend for those who have just had their heart broken and want to avoid the Valentine’s Day blues?

Sevyn Streeter: As far as a brokenhearted female goes, she can get with some of her single friends, and go see Fifty Shades Of Grey together. They can go to dinner either before of afterwards, having a couple glasses of wine, and just make a night of that. Be each other’s valentines. I’ve definitely done that with myself before! There’s nothing wrong with being single on Valentine’s Day.

What do you think a guy or girl, who has been put in the friendzone, can do to get with the person that they really want to be with on V-Day?

Sevyn Streeter: Surprises, surprises, surprises. That’s the best way to kind of let them know a little bit. You can get them a card, or ask them to dinner. Valentine’s Day is a really romantic way to tell somebody that you’re into them. They should be really, really flattered. Take advantage of that day, and let them know that them being a secret admirer is not a secret anymore. Be honest!

What are your Valentine’s Day plans with your new boo B.o.B.?

Sevyn Streeter: I’m actually not sure! With us, between work and albums, we’ll just have to see. We find cool ways to keep it spicy.

Being that your new single is called “Don’t Kill The Fun,” how are you finding ways to make sure things stay fun with both of your hectic schedules?

Sevyn Streeter: I have quite a personality on me, and he has quite a personality on him. You can see that through our Instagrams. You just can’t take it too seriously. I say it all the time that you can’t take things too seriously and take it one day at a time. I think that when you start out as friends first, you can only go in a good direction from there. Just have a good time, and don’t stress it. Don’t kill the fun!
