Funkmaster Flex Continues to Take Shots at Jay Z
by Staff Editor
Earlier this week, Funkmaster Flex took to the airwaves to let off some steam in a bomb-filled rant about Jay Z and his Life+Times website.
This past weekend, the Hot 97 DJ continued his assault all because of a text message, allegedly from Jay, that read “This is HOV”. That obviously made Flex feel some kind of way.
“In 2015, you are a commercial, corporate rapper that drops a little catchphrase every three months,” Flex said. “There’s nothing wrong with that. I think that’s super dope. Don’t talk to me funny in the text, bruh. I don’t work for you.”
Then to answer any doubts that Flex stood alone in this new campaign, he spoke for himself and Hot97.
“We not scared of you,” he said. “This radio station doesn’t need you, or care. Actually, the whole company doesn’t need you. You can’t call the bosses like you do other things.”
Listen to the full rant below.
Flex is playing himself more than he’s accusing Jay of. He could have handled this in private.. Instead of CRYING to his audience trying to win suppport. (Notice the caps) That was between him and Jay. Fact is Flex is still a worker. .. so be careful. If Jay does buy out hot 97.. Flex just ethered himself by letting his emotions take control.
Who the fuck he think he talking to? Flex just committed suicide. SMH
again, with the bombs…dude. FOH. nothing about what you say is dramatic in any way.
