R&B fans everywhere are slowly, but surely, starting to rejoice now that the genre is beginning to come back to its original fruition, as was seen in majority of 2014. With new, as well as some old, artists dropping solid projects that captured the perfect blend of old school and today’s Trap&B sound, R&B seems to be in a great place to make progress. While there are tons of new artists who are bringing us back to the origins of what 90’s fans fell in love with, it seems like comebacks seem to be a popular, and well-received, trend.

A couple of groups and artists that made the ladies sweat, and the fellas learn to croon to women, have made some comebacks in the past couple of years. It only makes me believe that there are many more that could see success in 2015. We’ve seen Tank, Ginuwine, and Tyrese come together as TGT in 2013 for an amazing album, and we can hopefully look forward to Jodeci dropping a project later this year, but there are more on our list that can bring back that sound we know and miss.

Peep the next few pages to see who should hit the studio to make a project this year. –Lindsey India
