YG let off some steam in an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood’s show yesterday (Dec. 16). The ComptonĀ rapper is among the masses who do not agree with the upcoming 2015 Grammy Award nominations.

“My album is better than them albums,” he said. “I know it got something to do with me being from the streets and representing what I represent and talking about what I talk about on these records but the Grammy people gotta know, I’m the people’s champ and I’m the people’s people.”

The rapper spoke on Iggy Azalea, who is nominated for four Grammys, and ScHoolboy Q, who is nominated only inĀ the Best Rap Album category. “I came up with Iggy, I know Iggy, ScHoolBoy, I’m rocking with all of them. I already knew they was goin’ get nominated.”

Despite the rapper not dropping just who’s album he believes he should replace, YG did detailed how he feels on what not being recognized feels like.

“It was like a slap in the face, like bshhhhhh (slap sound) you nigger. My whole situation went from zero to 100 real quick off of that album,” he explained then compared his non-Grammy recognition to fellow Cali representative Snoop Dogg. “He in the same situation, man they got something against us.”

Do you think YG was snubbed?
