Lil Wayne Confirms Issues With Cash Money Records

Earlier this week, Lil Wayne  shocked the world y taking to twitter to express his frustrations with Cash Money Records concerning his contract and the push-back of his forthcoming album, Tha Carter V.

“I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy,” said the rapper in his tweets. “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.”

Corte Bryant, Wayne’s manager, then had a sit-down with TMZ where he claimed that things were all “good” between Wayne and Cash Money.

Last night, while performing at Vice’s 20th anniversary celebration Wayne cleared the air a bit more by confirming the tweets.

“It’s a fucked up situation, but I will be out of it soon, and I do it for ya’ll,” said Weezy.
