Iggy Azalea Blasts Twitter Critics
by Staff Editor
Social media erupted in a fiery storm yesterday (Dec. 3) following the grand jury announcement of no indictment for the officer who used an illegal chokehold that resulted in the death of Eric Garner. Many within the hip-hop community joined the protests nationwide both physically and via their Twitter and Instagram.
In the wake of the announcement and support from artists like J. Cole and Diddy, many set their eyes on white hip-hop artists who have been quiet despite the unrest. Popular target, Iggy Azalea, entered a dangerous Twittersphere with a tweet regarding her upcoming tour and the response following was less than pleasant to say the least.
You’re terrible RT @IGGYAZALEA: In other news that actually relates to me: my arena tour is looking nice! Cant wait to release the dates

Not taking the comments lightly, Iggy fired back with a word of advice for her critics: “Theres more to sparking a change than trolling on social media. World issues shouldnt be used as a poor excuse to promote fan battles.”
