Def Jam and G.O.O.D. Music collided to host an intimate listening party for Teyana Taylor’s debut album VII last night (Oct. 20) in Los Angeles. Produced by MVD Inc and Kanye West’s Donda, the event was held at Siren Studios to cater to an A List crowd including Kanye, Kim Kardashian West, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Nelly, Michael B. Jordan, Terrence Jenkins, Duane Martin and plenty more.

Addressing the crowd in true Kanye fashion, the G.O.O.D. Music general graced the mic to inform all in attendance that Teyana’s debut project is very much so needed in the music marketplace.

“So, I be scared to turn up,” he said. “If you remember with Pusha T, I turned up and everybody thought I was crazy. Then he came out and did that buck-twenty and n—-s were like, ‘Aw, man. Maybe the sh– was good.’ But what I’m saying is Teyana provides something that’s so R&B, so black, so ‘hood, so missing and so necessary in the marketplace.”

Just two weeks until VII hits shelves, the album is now available for pre-order on her website. Also, the G.O.O.D. Music artist has been busy building anticipation ahead of her album’s release with visual teasers of records on the LP.
