No one went quietly into last night’s (Sept. 4) intimate, Prohibition-themed fete at Harlem’s sophisticated brasserie, Minton’s + The Cecil, for the HBO-hosted “Boardwalk Backroom.”

Roaring with from DJ D-Nice’s turntables and actress Margot Bingham’s band-backed jazzy vocals, the festive affair was filled with the city’s VIPs (Bevy Smith, Michaela Angela Davis), HBO execs (Lucinda Martinez) and members of the Boardwalk Empire cast (Michael K. Williams and Margot Bingham), in celebration of Boardwalk Empire’s fifth and final season.

Attendees donned their most elegant 1930s attire while sipping a pre-set cocktail menu (Chalky’s Stash was a hit!) and watched as lively burlesque girls danced in their feather-adorned costumes. The old-school environment was truly amazing.
