This year must be the year of reunions. First, Andre 3000 and Big Boi reunited as Outkast and proceeded to go on a festival tour together, and most recently 50 Cent reunited the original 4 members of G-Unit at this past Summer Jam Festival.

Now, it looks like it’s Dipset’s turn.

During a concert last night (June 27) at Echostage in DC, Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana were joined by Un Kasa, and Freekey Zeeky to perform their classic hit “Salute” live on stage. While this wasn’t as official of a reunion as the previously mentioned ones, it’s nonetheless exciting to see one of hip-hop’s most prolific groups come back together, even if it’s not every member of the Dips. Time will make you forget how much they’ve done for the culture.

Is this situation telling of what’s next to come? Will we have a full blow reunion from Cam and Dipset? Only time will tell, but for now enjoy this semi-reunion on the following page.
