Just when you thought hip hop forgot about the FiFa World Cup, Chicago lyricist Lupe Fiasco drops an anthem for Team USA. As the musical director for the 2014 U.S. Men’s National Team during the World Cup, Lupe puts his anti-Americaisms aside for a riveting new anthem “Stellar Light.” Set against the backdrop of all that is America and sports, a montage of fierce supporters sporting body paint, footage of the team and Lupe himself, the snippet gives a clue of what is to come.
