August Alsina took on Hot 97’s Morning Show and when asked about the 106 & Park mishap, he didn’t spazz out. Instead he took some responsibility for the unfortunate blow out. The singer returned to BET and made amends with Keisha Chante but doesn’t regret saying what he felt.

The singer realizes now as he navigates the industry that being completely honest might cause some friction in interviews by offering too much information that can be spoken on.

“It’s all apart of me growing. I speak from my heart, I got a big fuckin’ heart. I don’t know how to change that. In all reality, what I said was never to belittle or cause a problem,” August said. “I’m the idiot because its like I said what I said thinking maybe if I say this these niggas won’t ask me about it. With these interviews they put what they want to put up.”
