Last year, Timbaland sat down with REVOLT to provide an exclusive on his plans to release a posthumous Michael Jackson album, in partnership with L.A. Reid. It looks like progress is being made on the project given that Timbo has released a 1:07 snippet of a previously unreleased MJ song entitled “Slave To the Rhythm” as a part of #TimbalandThursdays.

“To even go bigger would be two kings working together,” said Timbaland. “L.A. Reid came to me, like to my house. I got something big I want to do. I can tell you the first single’s gonna be the song ‘Chicago,’ but I’m gonna set it up right. So, now it’s my time, watch me go.”
