Jhené Aiko got a chance to talk to Rap-Up TV about her upcoming album, Souled Out, and how there’s still room for features depending on when artists get their contributions in. She wouldn’t give a confirmed release date, but did reveal that there’s a possible May release in the works. 

Later on in the interview, the Sail Out singer seemed to surprise herself by admitting that Drake is her “musical soulmate,” then added that it was “just musically though” to calm any rumors of the two’s possible romance.

“I think that he is probably like my musical soulmate,” said Aiko. “I just feel like our voices compliment each other, our writing styles, all of that.”

Aiko also hinted that there may be more collaborations between the two in the future. “I would love to do a full project with him. I think that it would be really dope,” said Aiko before confirming that discussions to make this happen have started.
