During Essence’s 10th music festival, the legendary Prince graced the stage and he is now returning as a headliner 10 years later.

The 2014 Essence Music Festival will take place July 3-6 n New Orleans. The “Breakfast Can Wait” crooner’s performance will benefit the Rebuild the Dream Innovation fund to “champion awareness and foster education for disadvantaged youth to learn the language of computer coding and programming.”

If you can’t wait for 2014 to get your dose of Prince, the Purple One will be closing out 2013 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut with trio performances. Find tickets here.
