Who doesn’t love life in the summer time? Kelly Rowland sure does, and she reminds us all just how glamorous it could be with “Summer Dreaming.” The song isn’t just about fun in the sun, it was made to commemorate Barcardi’s 150th Anniversary. The song is a remake of Kate Yanai’s ’90s hit “Summer Dreaming (The Bacardi Song).

We see Kelly doing a lot in the video including hanging poolside in Barcelona and spinning in the DJ booth. Kelly had this to say about the video.

“The story is all about the celebration. It’s almost like you’re seeing my dream come to life before your eyes and I wake up and I’m like, ‘I’m really dreaming!’”

Kelly will perform the song live in Berlin on July 8. Ms. Rowland is also finishing up the album had a few things to say about the album and what we can expect.

“It’s a very urban, R&B, sexy, unexpected record on this next album. It’s gonna make you think. It’s gonna make you wonder.”
