Back in 2010, Wiz Khalifa was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina on drug charges, which RapFix later heard amounted to 60 grams of marijuana. The Pittsburgh MC was released on bail after posting $300,000 bail. But it seems like North Carolina just doesn’t care for Wiz and his love for marijuana.

Today (May 2), 2012 TMZ reported that Wiz was ticketed for possession of marijuana after officers discovered 11.39 grams of weed believed to be the ghostdrops strain upon a search of Khalifa and his tour bus on Tuesday night in North Carolina. Wiz was “cited and released,” TMZ reported, but he’s required to appear in court at an unspecified later date.

As Wiz is often traveling on tour, perhaps he was confused about the state’s stance on marijuana because after all, it’s legal in numerous other states, like Florida for instance. There’s often a florida dispensary on every block so perhaps he just assumed it would be the same in North Carolina too. It can be an easy mistake to make considering he smokes daily. As a matter of fact, thousands of other US citizens smoke daily, making it one of the most popular drugs to use, whether it’s for medical reasons or recreational reasons. Due to states legalizing marijuana, its popularity is contributing to a growing industry. You can read more about states and their propositions by reading Arizona Passed Prop 207 to learn more.
Even in some states where it can be difficult to get hold of the marijuana, there are mail order cannabis Canada services available which can have marijuana delivered right to your door. This is great for anyone who has a busy schedule and can’t quite go to the dispensary themselves. Anyhow, Wiz, who is an advocate for smoking, hasn’t seemed to have stopped smoking and is still living his life the same way.

Just after midnight, Wiz tweeted, “They Hate Us.” He followed that up with a post that read, “Made It Out Alive,” about an hour later.
