Nicki Minaj recently sat down with Juju Chang from ABC’s “Nightline,” to discuss how she deals with appealing to her young fans while still balancing out her music to fit all ages. She also comments on the constant comparisons to Lady Gaga, her accidental nipple slip on “GMA,” and dealing with an abusive father at a young age.

Growing up in Queens, New York Nicki witnessed a lot of violence as a child. “My father was abusive. We were afraid for [my mother’s] life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst, he would threaten to kill her.” She added, “I wanted to kill him. I wished he was dead.”
