According to FADER and the founder of TDE, The Black Hippie Group which includes Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock have just closed a deal with Interscope Records as well as Aftermath Entertainment. I’m not sure if anyone seen this coming but it sure is a real good look for their entire movement. You can catch them in Austin, Texas at SXSW performing live at the FADER FORT Presented by Converse. Kendrick Lamar’s forthcoming, still-untitled album will be released jointly by Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope. Future releases by Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rockwill be released jointly by Top Dawg and Interscope. More details on the deal, from Tiffith, are coming soon.
