2. Adele – 21 – 82,549 – You can’t stop this chick. You can only hope to contain her. Hopefully the RIAA is getting her three times platinum plaque ready as we type/read, because it’s only a matter of time. And say what you will, “Someone Like You” is that sh*t.

3. Kelly Rowland – Here I Am – 76,857 – She’s charting high now, but will drop progressively by next week. That’s no shade towards her, but we’ve seen this type of situation how many times now? It is what it is. Ah well, at least she has one of the hotter songs of the summer under her belt, which completely rejuvenated her solo career.

6. Beyonce – 4 – 41,018 – I’ve been seeing more and more talk about Mrs. Carter “flopping” with this new album. I assume it’s all about how you see the glass – half full or half empty.

14. DJ Khaled – We The Best Forever – 20,625 – It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s already moved on and put all his effort into Ace Hood’s new album. Still, the penguin will get to 100K which all but guarantees we’ll see him this time next year with another big single. That’s just how these things work. 

37. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday – 11,600 – 1.5M and climbing. And she still has that video with Rihanna in the stash. Brian and Slim Williams wins again.

51. Chris Brown – F.A.M.E. – 8,249 – Every morning when riding to work, I always end up listening to the “Strawberry Letter” portion of The Steve Harvey Morning Show (man, don’t ask). And every day they always play “She Ain’t You” like clockwork. It’s safe to say that unless buddy doesn’t catch himself in anymore trouble, he’s may have finally put the past two years of his life behind him.

83. Jay Rock – Follow Me Home – 5,275 – I was wondering how much this sold and this is about where I expected it to be.

132. Lil Wayne – I Am Not A Human Being – 4,009 – Don’t look now, but this is damn near platinum.
