A few days ago, the MTV VMA nominees were announced and among the many stars that have been nominated, Odd Future‘s boss Tyler The Creator was quite a surprise to everyone, including himself. He is nominated for “Video Of The Year” as well as “Best New Artist“. Above he talks with Sway about how he feels about being nominated. The awards air on August 28th.

To the person above, are you fuckin kidding me? Tyler has more talent than almost all mainstream shit rappers these days. He shits on Lil B, Jay Z, even fuckin Lil Wayne. I agree with you that the times have changed, thats for damn sure. Hip-hop in its essence and realness died a long time ago. But you can bob your head to tylers music so thats good enough for me.
