An artist I’ve been rocking with for a good minute is Phil Ade. Based out of the DMV, he’s one of the artists I believe can put a stamp on District Hip-Hop that Wale helped bring attention to on a mainstream stage (Fat Trel being another notable name to check for). On the day before the 42nd anniversary of the moon landing (that’s July 19), Ade will be releasing his new project, A Different World, with the co-sign of the 2dopeboyz.com.

Following the release of last year’s The Letterman, I’ve been slowly but surely acclimating myself with his music and for the most part have liked what I heard. It’ll be interesting to see what type of traction ADW can do for his career. In the meantime, watch this three minute trailer for the tape/album to familiarize yourself with this Washington National.
