Look, we all know the glory days of Death Row died in 1996 when Dre left the label, Pac passed away and Snoop ultimately took his talents to No Limit. Since then, it’s been lawsuit after lawsuit, sprinkle in some legal trouble, a prison sentence and then losing control of the label he built into one of the most notorious bodies of work in the 1990’s.

The money has dried up and at this point Suge continues to live off what once was rather than what actually is. As the former face of the most infamous label in Hip Hop, Knight now has a new campaign to put his name and face on, PETA. Yes, that PETA.

Knight, who once kept a German Shepherd attack dog by the name of “Damu” in his Death Row office, will campaign against the cruel treatment of dogs.

The former label boss ditched an aggressive ad campaign and instead of using Pitbulls, the rap mogul took pictures with his three labrador retrievers for a photo shoot.

Personal feelings about Suge aside, as long as he doesn’t do one of those naked ads like Waka did, I’m perfectly ok with this.
