40 Minutes With Lil Wayne & Tim Westwood

Leave it to Tim Westwood to prove all laws of cyber limitations wrong. Here I was thinking YouTube videos could only hold up to 12-15 minutes worth of footage. The above clip is damn near an hour long fill – 48 minutes to be exact – with mostly Lil Wayne and Tim chopping it up. To start, the UK radio legend let go of some footage he had stashed away with Wayne shortly before he turned himself in earlier this year. I don’t know the man personally, but it seemed rather evident to me he was tired of talking about “going away” and just wanted to get it done. Either that or he was high. Probably both though.

Westwood also weaves in some video footage of a barrage of Wayne’s hits like “I’m Single,” “A Milli,” “I’m So Hood (remix),” “My Life” and “Roger That” along with an interview he had with Wayne awhile back in the UK following a concert.  The last seven minutes feature an in studio freestyle with across-the-pond talents Scorcher and Wretch 32.

While on the topic of Wayne, however, he’s 79 days away from leaving Rikers and posted his newest letter moments ago entitled “Just Another Day.”
