Recently, Quavo sat down with HYPEBEAST and discussed stepping out on his own with his forthcoming album.

Migos came on the scene back in 2013 with their hit single, Versace. The group’s popularity quickly grew as their catchy lyrics and unique style caught the hearts of their fans. But as the popularity of the group grew, fans also gravitated towards Quavo’s distinctive sound. With Quavo’s heightened star potential, he made guest appearances on numerous tracks, including Travis Scott’s On My Side, 2 Chainz’s Good Drank, and Post Malone’s Congratulations.

In his interview with HYPEBEAST , Quavo considered himself “modern day top five.” The 27-year-old also stated that he is a resource in the industry:

“Like a natural resource, if you take it away, it’s going to effect essentially the world. If you take me or the Migos away from this game, a lot of changes. A lot of people won’t be around.
