Noisey and their parent company VICE has given us some of the most eye-opening documentary interviews ever, and their upcoming eight-part interview series might top em all.

Brought to you by the people who gave us Noisey Atlanta and Noisey Chiraq, VICE and Noisey present to us “Noisey Bompton” featuring Kendrick Lamar and the city of Compton, California. They explore the West Side of Compton where Kendrick and his friends he grew up, they talk about his acclaimed albums, visited his high school, Centennial, and to learn more about his childhood friend Lil L.

Again, this will be the first interview of an eight-part series. Each episode focuses on a different city, its major stars, and the stories and issues that influence its music scene.
