Wiz Khalifa & Nicki Minaj Show Their ‘True Colors’
by Staff Editor
Wiz Khalifa is heating up for his highly anticipated 3rd studio album Blacc Hollywood and the singles continue to roll out; today we hear his collaboration with Nicki Minaj titled “True Colors.” Continuing his singing tradition, Wiz kicks things off with some R&B-esque melodies about people’s ‘true colors’ over the relaxed and mellowing instrumental. Reminiscing on his come up and how powerful it was, Wiz laces the soon-to-be radio hit with some catchy bars.
Then Nicki strolls in with a great singing-rapping combination about her current number 1 spot in hip-hop, while also hinting that her Pinkprint cover will be worth seeing. She ends her verse with, “they know I’m a mogul for real, I branded a color…Pink is the color, I can’t wait to unveil the Pinkprint cover.” If it’s anything like her “Anaconda” cover art, than let the controversy begin.
