Wale is in search of peace. The Washington, D.C. born rapper is visiting his family’s homeland of Nigeria for the first time and is documenting the trip in “I Am From,” to be aired January 20 on Revolt TV. His homecoming comes with greater purpose but will the flashing lights get in the way of his journey? “The whole idea of the trip was for me to find some peace within my family and bring peace to my family,” he says. “But sometimes, business can get in the way of real life.” Check out the trailer above.
