After saying that “Kendrick Lamar and Game have two of the worst deals in the industry” on The Arsenio Hall Show, Suge Knight sits down with BET to clarify his statements about the two Compton emcees. In the interview, the former CEO of Death Row Records reassures people that his statements were not meant to harm the images of both emcees, but to shed light on the deals of two of the most prominent left-coast emcees.

“It wasn’t about embarrassing anybody. It wasn’t about me putting them [Game and Kendrick] as men down or as artists” Suge Knight states in the interview. “It was about putting the people in control down saying ‘How are you f**king over these dudes from Compton when they are making a difference for your company?'”
