Kendrick Lamar was pretty busy last night. The Compton kid stopped by good friend Jermaine Cole’s show last night and gifted fans with a medley of songs including “m.A.A.d City” and “Backseat Freestyle.”

“I just want people to know how much of an inspiring artist this man is to me. He’s one of the first people who welcomed me with open arms. This ain’t no rap friendship or nothing. He taught me just to laugh,” King Kendrick said on his relationship with Cole.

After turning up the crowd at the Theater in Madison Square Garden, K. Dot made the short trip to Irving Plaza where he joined Dom Kennedy on the New York stop of his Get Home Safely tour. Crashing the stage with another rendition of “Backseat Freestyle,” Lamar ended his Tuesday night with two very amped up crowds. Peep the J. Cole footage above and the Dom Kennedy video after the jump.
