Wale isn’t for the drama. After fellow MMG counterpart Meek Mill called him out as a fake supporter on Twitter earlier today (July 8), the DC native took to his Instagram to discount the allegations with a repost of a picture supporting Meek’s single “Suicidal.”

“Few weeks ago. (7w) I posted this .but ok. Movin along . My AVI always changed when it’s THAT time,” he opened his post. He goes on to explain that he is aware he may not “fit” the typical mold but that doesn’t discount his contributions to hip hop. Check out his full statement on the following page, do you agree?

I’ve been locked in to Wale since “More About Nothing” came out in 2010. That said, his words don’t surprise me, they’re pretty authentic and in line with how I’ve always perceived him to be.

Isn’t it interesting that he’s a bigger name than Meek, yet it’s Wale who always changes his avi to support Meek’s projects?
