“We make hoes eat d*ck before they meet Jigga…”

That has to be one of the hardest lines of the year just based off nostalgia and the good ol’ R.O.C. days. Young Chris and Freeway’s new visual “Street Secrets” focuses on the code of those same streets and how many rappers today violate them by speaking on them a tad too in-depth. Doing so is confused for snitching, or what I refer to as the “First 48 moment of truth.” If you’ve ever seen that show, then you already know what happens when a “person of interest” gets cornered in that back room with nothing but his own conscience, a table, two cops and bright light. Street cred is everything until “the boys” start hanging football numbers over their head. Anway, “Street Secrets” appeared on Chris’ The Re-Introduction mixtape.

Even more interesting than the video and the content of the song itself, is the timing. Star, of Star and Bucwild, recently laughed a “Start Snitching” campaign in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love has seen a robust 156 murders so far this year. The 2011 campaign is something Star launched in 2002 in New York City when they were experiencing the same violent trends.
