The just-announced NBA Baller Jam claims to “put a real basketball in your hands” to help you “master mad ball handling skills while playing to the beat of an eclectic soundtrack“. A soundtrack that, by the way, features Common, the narrator of the above teaser video.

All this is done by using Project Natal technology, a revolutionary new way to play: no controller required. See a ball? Kick it, hit it, trap it or catch it. If you know how to move your hands, shake your hips or speak you and your friends will never stop playing this.

More information on this new technology from X-box Kinect will be available coming in June.
